Questions

I'm not getting a reflection

Reflections are free on any iPhone that runs Droplet, which means iOS 26 or later, and there is no account to make. You need to be online for a reflection; your entry and your droplet are saved first either way.

How do I restore Droplet Plus on a new iPhone?

Open Settings in Droplet and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.

How do I cancel Droplet Plus?

Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Droplet. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all payments and refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the Droplet purchase.

How do I delete what Droplet remembers?

Delete an entry from Days, or everything at once with Delete everything in Settings; either deletes it from Droplet. Neither recalls a vote or feedback already sent: a vote stays on Droplet's server until its round closes, and feedback for 12 months. Tide notes, the short notes Plus keeps about you, can be read and removed one by one on the Tide screen, and Delete everything removes them too. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your iPhone.

Is Droplet therapy?

No. Droplet is a journal that writes back. It can help you notice things, but it isn't a substitute for care from a professional. If you're struggling, please talk to someone. In New Zealand you can call or text 1737 any time. Outside New Zealand, findahelpline.com lists free helplines in 175+ countries.

What happens if I miss a day?

Nothing drains. The tide goes out, and your ocean waits at the same depth for whenever you come back.

Does my writing leave my iPhone?

Yes, to be reflected on. What you write goes to Droplet's server and on to Cloudflare, which runs the AI model that writes the reply, and the reply comes straight back. Droplet doesn't store or log your writing, and there's no account for it to be attached to. Droplet asks before the first reflection and you can say no. The Privacy section sets out exactly what is sent.

Do I need a new iPhone, or an account?

Neither. Reflections are free on any iPhone that runs Droplet, which means iOS 26 or later, and there is nothing to sign up for at either tier. You need to be online for a reflection; your entry and your droplet are saved first either way.

How much do I need to write?

As much as you like. One line fills the day's droplet just as well as a page.

What does Plus remember?

A one-line summary of each of your last seven days, your tide notes (short lines Plus writes to remember what matters to you), a few older days like today and short lines from past weeks and months. All of it is kept on your iPhone and sent with each Plus reflection, and "What was last sent" in Settings shows every part of the last one.

Can I cancel Plus?

Any time, in your App Store settings. You keep everything you've written, your ocean and your waters.
